50 Rams went under the hammer at the annual Charja Poll Dorset Ram Sale held at Brad and Karen Dawsons property “Ingilby” Binda Road Crookwell on Saturday November 26, 2011 with a one hundred per cent clearance once again.
Topping the sale was lot 24 which realised $1400.00 and was purchased by ND Evans, a volume buyer on the day.
Mr Evans went home with a nice line of Eight Rams that averaged $862.50.
In addition Flowerburn Pastoral Company once again had their ewes on offer selling 325 First Cross Ewes, one-and-a-half years, August shorn. Topping at $196.00 and averaging $194.20. HV Lawrence was the successful purchaser of all the ewes and also purchased Six Charja Rams on the day.
The sale was conducted by local agents MD and JJ Anderson Pty Ltd with Greg Anderson as the Auctioneer.
