THE community response to initial communication and media regarding The Upper Lachlan Foundation has been very encouraging.
Recently the Gunning Wellbeing Group and the Rural Support Coordinator’s from the other villages within the Shire, got together to discuss ULF over a luncheon at the Ewe & Me Café in Crookwell.
The combined villages of Peelwood, Tuena, Narrawa, Bigga, Dalton, Gunning, Laggan, Fullerton, Cotta Walla and Wheeo received the information about ULF and are now taking this information back to their local people to encourage attendance at the forthcoming Community Information Evenings.
Many questions were answered during the luncheon to assist with clarity of information and to correct any misinformation regarding Community Foundations.
The Information Evenings are a great way to learn about Community Foundations and the benefits for our local community. Memberships are now open to the ULF for both individuals and community groups for $20 per membership.
Please continue to RSVP to the Community Information Evenings to Cath Carter Rural Financial Counselling Service ccarter@rfcsnsw-sr.com.au or phone: 48 32 00 70. The three Community Information Evenings are being held in
