Other participating schools were Bowral High, Moss Vale High, Frensham, Chevalier, Trinity Goulburn and St Pauls International School.
Students were required to complete one or two tasks in a certain time period and they were awarded points in various categories for a wide range of things.
All the designs and constructions were tested under the same conditions.
Some of the activities included building a bridge, building a hovercraft, designing and sailing a boat, wiring a city with electricity, building and flying a model plane, and building a car powered by a balloon.

Crookwell High will now compete in the State Challenge to be held in August at Macquarie University.
