The American Dental Association,CDC and FDA warnings to avoid fluoride intake for infants have been totally ignored except by 3 small state health departments. Even the CDC and ADA have not informed the public and many dentists did not read the signle memo. The York 2000 study showed fluoridation tripled dental enamel damage from 15% to 48% with 12.5% needing expensive cosmetic restoration. The Pizzo 2007 of very current data showed 51% and a CDC study 48.42% which they refused to publish and instead claim 32%. As high and unacceptable that is 50% is dam near criminal. 12 % when fluoridation began was to be the failure limit with only the very mildest damage. Now we have 4% of blacks with very life changing ugly moderate and severe damage which is a medical effect. The FDA has never reviewed the safety of any fluoride for ingestion yet. Of the thousands of studies claiming benefit not one ever was on the very different chemical H2SiF6 taken directly from smokestack pollution scrubbers and contaminated with 20 plus toxins many radioactive because the phosphate mines also produce uranium. The uranium is just left in all the products now but the price of yellow cake is at 120 pound now so new recovery plants are to be made. So that free dose of radioactivity might disappear in 5 years.
