A NEW element to the Crookwell Potato Festival this year is the Acciona Energy Photographic Competition. There is only one element to the brief for this photographic competition and that is that the subject must be somehow related to the potato industry - potato plants, a potato dish, a potato farmer, a potato paddock..... anything to do with the potato industry.
Prizes will be awarded in 2 categories - Junior (12 years and under) and Open (open to everyone). First prize in the junior category is $50 and in the open category is $100 cash so get those cameras clicking.
All entries will be on display during festival week and judging will take place on Friday March 2 with the winners announced on the March 3 at the festival.
All entries must include an entry form available from the Crookwell Visitor Information Centre or online at www.crookwellpotatofestival.com.a u under Events.
All entries must be submitted by noon Friday March 2 to the Crookwell Visitor Information Centre mounted as per the directions on the entry form.
