Music Hall mayhem 2010!

01 Sep, 2010 06:11 PM
WANTED! A couple of extra mature male voices for the Music Hall chorus line! You will be also required to have enough agility to move around the stage of the Memorial Hall. A sense of humour would also be an asset!

Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons starting Sundays September 5, 12, 19, 26 and October 10, 17, 24, 31 from 1-5pm.

Songs will be learnt on Wednesdays, September 8 and 15, starting time 7.00 - 9.00pm Performance Dates for Music Hall Mayhem 2010 are Friday 5, Saturday 6, Sunday 7 (matinee) November and Thursday 11 Friday 12, Saturday 13 November.

Choreography is under the guidance of the renowned and “youthful” Stan Henderson who, at 82 years, proves that age is no barrier to working on the stage.

Chorus items include catchy tunes ranging from Comedy Tonight to Buttons & Bows; Luck be a Lady to In the Navy; Steppin’ Out with My Baby to A Crazy Little Thing Called Love – and many more!

If you know most of these songs, then you are of the right age and we need you! So men of Crookwell, don’t be bashful, don’t be shy. And if you are, then this is the vehicle to bring you out of your shell. Guaranteed hard work but loads of fun!

Contact Rhonda Cummins ph 4832 2009 or Anne Cleary ph 4832 1457 as soon as possible, if you can be involved.
