Resealing work on Goulburn, Crookwell, Bigga Road

24 Jan, 2012 02:01 PM
MOTORISTS are advised essential maintenance is being carried out on MR 54, also known as Goulburn Crookwell Bigga Road.

Work to reseal the road at various locations between Goulburn and Abercrombie River is being carried out daily from 7.30am to 4.30pm until next Wednesday.

During this time, motorists will be guided through the worksite by traffic controllers and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will apply.

Motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes.

Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.

When completed, the $425,000 project will provide 8.2 kilometres of resurfaced road, resulting in a smoother ride for motorists and reducing ongoing maintenance costs.

Motorists are advised to plan their journey, allow extra travel time, drive with care and obey the signs.
