Cod record broken by junior

17 Jan, 2012 07:59 AM
BINDA Fishing Club's record cod weight of 7.400kg that was held by Phillip Cramp for nearly twelve years was recently broken by Annika Picker, a junior member of the club.

Annika was fishing at Wyangla Dam with her family in late December when she caught the record breaking cod that weighed in at a massive 9.800kg.

It is great to see the amount of fish being caught this season with good catches of cod and golden perch being caught at Wyangla and trout in the local rivers and streams.
