Conditions were very good for golf and with a fair amount of run in the course some very good scores were recorded, with the best being returned by Mick O'Brien and Bill Searl on 52 points.

Mick had an individual score of 42 points while Bill chipped in with a handy 38 points.

Runners-up were Geoff Leonard and Mick McGeechan with 48 points, a score which might normally find them in the winner's circle.

Good individual scores came from David Scott (43 points), Ken Armitage (40), Graham Johns (39), Garry Seaman (38) and John McGeechan (38).

Nearest-the-Pin on the 4th/13th hole was Christine Seaman with a very impressive shot which ended only 48 centimetres from the pin while Ashley Gilbert was nearest on the 7th/16th hole, exactly one metre away,

The Drive-and-Pitch competition on the 2nd/11th hole went to Ken Armitage in A Grade and John McGeechan in B Grade.

This Saturday will see a Single Stroke event sponsored by Crookwell Footwear and Workwear. The Guzzlers Mug will be up for grabs but it is not a Monthly Medal day as that will be played for at the end of the month at the Open Day (the 28th February).

A reminder that the Chicken Run is on every Thursday with the Club open from 4 0'clock. Everyone is guaranteed a game.

Club members are reminded that this Saturday promises to be a big night at the Club with a Country Music night with a Food Buffet available.
