CROOKWELL came away with convincing win after trailing on the scoreboard for most of the game.
Harmon led 8-0 at halftime.
The young Crookwell side had three tries disallowed in the first half and also in the 15th minute of the second for various reasons by the officials.
It was in the 20th minute that the Crookwell team scored their first try.
Centre Ben Hearn scored after good lead up work by Jason Della and Andrew Knight. Andy Nolan’s conversion attempt was successful, Harmon 8 Crookwell 6.
It was at this stage that Crookwell took control of the game for the kick off. Second rower Shane Gann made a break and ran deep into Harmon territory from the play the ball, Robbie Gay combined with Dean Kensit, who off-loaded the ball to fullback Danny Knight, who beat the last two defenders to score the try.
Nolan converted, Crookwell 12 Harmon 8.
It was again from the kick off that Gann broke through the Harmon defence from the play the ball.
Andrew Knight made another break for the ever present halfback Robbie Gay to score the try. Nolan converted, Crookwell 18 Harmon 8.
Crookwell looked to have the game in hand but Harmon scored a try in the 31st minute, but missed the conversion to trail by six points.
