Former Shark, Raider to coach Devils

In 1965 Michael started playing football for Crookwell at the age of six.

He gave Crookwell great service playing many fine games for 15 years, playing under Brian Doyle, Eric Simms and Mick McCarthy.

Mick is the son of Jack Fahey and Nephew of Mick Fahey who gave him tips on how to play Rugby League.

After due course in 1981,Michael went and played for Cronulla for one season, playing a number of first grade games, he then went to the Canberra Raiders fro two seasons (1982-83).

Some of Mick's coaches were Tom Bishop and Don Ferner.

The Devils also have three new signings from Canberra, adding more talent to the team.
