Bachelor of Laws with honours

WILLIAM ATFIELD is receiving congratulations after being admitted to the Supreme Court of the ACT.

William, who is the son of Lesley and Greg Atfield grew up in Crookwell and attended Crookwell Public School and Crookwell High School.

After completing school William spent a gap year at The Kings School in Ely Cambridgeshire in the United Kingdom before returning home to attend university in Canberra.

After completing his first degree, Will completed his Bachelor of Laws with honours. Whilst at university, William was awarded the Australian Taxation Office Prize for Taxation of Entities and Tax Planning for the highest achieving student in the unit. William currently works with a Canberra law firm that has offices in both Queanbeyan and Canberra.

Next year William will study for his Masters of Laws.
