After two rough seasons leading up to 2014, this season's undefeated team, with their for and against points 516 for and 106 against, knew this had been a long time coming.
As the whistle blew the boys knew this was go time.
If they were nervous you would never have known.
With little to no errors, every one of them played their best.
The boys went absolutely gangbusters in defence and were outstanding in attack.
With tries to Reggie Davis (1) Harry O'Brien (2) and Oscar Rose (3).
And goals to Blake McCarten, Darcy Plumb, Jack Searl, Max Price and Shay Smith.
The boys brought the trophy home with a final score of 34 - 12.
With the raw natural talent these boys have, this team of amazing sportsman, in every sense of the word are the team of the future.
So in the words of captain Darcy Plumb "This is for the 3000 people back home” - let's see 3000 people supporting the boys next season.
