They are looking at one small change though, and thought it was time to share the exciting news.
They are combining their two meat processing facilities into one.
“It is really making a lot of sense to join the two together,” explained Rebecca McCormack proprietor and partner of Lost River Produce. “Moving the processing and packaging into the one location is the best decision for the business going forwards. This enables economies of scale and a more cost effective structure of the business. The processing and packaging of our meat will all be done from our Dickson location. This is the only change, Lost River Produce is not closing amid the rumours.
LRP have invested in a smokehouse as an addition to their main processing plant in the Canberra suburb of Dickson.
Phillip McCormack will be producing a large range of smallgoods, handmade by Phillip and the staff on site; thus far all comments have been that the products taste great!
LRP has two retail outlets, one in Crookwell and the other shop front in Canberra.
The quality beef and lamb is grown on their farm at Lost River and they source free range pork grown by “Bundawarrah Free Range Pork”.
They also supply their meat to “Farmer Felds” in Goulburn.
They employ ten staff members and operate six-day-a-week in Crookwell and Canberra.
They currently sell a large range of fresh from the farm meats and poultry products, smallgoods, and a variety other grocery lines.
They have many weekly specials and are always sourcing new lines keeping in mind their variety of consumers and their variety of needs.
Lost River Produce wish to also convey their thanks to their many loyal customers.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal staff at the Crookwell Processing Plant and wish those that are not continuing the journey with Lost River Produce all the best,” expressed Rebecca and Phil.
“Each and every one of you have been a great contributor to our business, good luck and thank you.”
“On this note it’s business as usual, so why not pop into the store at Crookwell and see our growing range of great products.”
