THIS Saturday evening, March 28, The Crookwell Dogs will be launching their season with a trial game against Kiama Rugby Club at the Memorial Oval.

Kick off will be at 6pm and there will be full bar facilities available from 5.30pm.
The after match function and official season launch will be held back at the Dogs home base, the Crookwell Golf Club, at the conclusion of the game.
The team has been training strongly over the past two months and at present have a strong roster of registered players. Coach Bruce Nixon has been impressed with the players commitment to the upcoming season.
The season proper kicks off on April 11 with a home game against Boorowa. This year the competition sees the inclusion of South Coast teams, Mogo, Batemans Bay, Broulee and Milton which will add some excitement to the season while the Dogs learn the newly added teams strengths and weaknesses.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of The Crookwell Rugby Club, and this will be celebrated with a black tie Ball in the Showground Pavilion on May 30. All past and present players and supporters are invited to attend. Please see the ad on page 8 for more details.
