Police continue to conducted walk-through and checks of licensed premises as well as traffic, alcohol and drug related enforcement within the area. The community are also reminded that all school grounds are strictly off limits. Anyone detected on school grounds outside of operating school times without prior permission will be dealt with via trespassing charges.

During the course of the weekend the Highway Patrol conducted a number of traffic enforcement patrols around the area. As a result a number of infringements were issued including exceed speed offences and unregistered vehicles. Road users are reminded to obey all traffic regulations including registrations etc as detecting is made very easy with current technology which automatically reads plates and alerts Police to unregistered/ uninsured vehicles.

Offender/s have gained entry to a rural farm supplies store in Goulburn Street Crookwell. The offender/s have gained access by removing roof panels and cutting a hole in the roof of the business. Once inside offender/s have moved through the rooms and at the time of report it appears approximately 20 chainsaws have been stolen. On the same weekend males have been noted acting suspiciously at a chainsaw supply shop in Mittagong. Police will view CCTV and inquiries are continuing.
Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behavior/persons or vehicles are requested to contact Police with information.
