Gearin has been chosen in the Provincial Brumbies representative side to take on NSW Country this Saturday at 1.05pm in Canberra.
Gearin spent his long weekend playing in Wagga Wagga in the Brumbies Provincial rugby tournament after being selected in the Monaro side.
The Monaro team was made up of ten Goulburn Dirty Reds players along with Gearin and players from other clubs in the Monaro region.
The first game Monaro played was on Sunday with the team coming away with a 46-5 win over South Coast Marlins. Gearin was a try scorer in this game.
In their second game on Monday, Monaro came away with a 49-7 loss against a strong Southern Inland side.
The Brumbies Provincial squad was then announced at the end of the tournament, with Gearin gaining selection.
Congratulations on your selection and good luck for Saturday!
