The sun was shining brightly with the mercury hitting 19 degrees, quite a warm day for our lads who are generally used to playing in lower temperatures.
Scores were level at 12-all in the first half and entertaining runs were made by backs from both sides.
Crookwell's size, experience, and ability to maintain possession, wore down the home side in the second half, using their rolling maul to gain good field position time and again.
At the full-time whistle Crookwell had scored six tries and also gained a bonus point to assist in their finals aspirations.
The Dogs head down the coast again this coming weekend to take on Milton, which will then be followed the week after with a much needed home game.
