She has been in active service with this trust for the past 10 years and has recently received a service recognition award from the Crown Lands Department.
This award has been given to Mrs Reeves for service to the community as a trustee.
Mrs Reeves has put countless hours into this committee including paperwork miles high.
She has lifelong ties to the Hall and the Grabben Gullen community, being a resident of the area for over 45 years.
Her family are still farming in the area and have done so for many years.
The Grabben Gullen Hall has had major refurbishments over the past years including the addition of a new toilet/shower block, electrical rewiring throughout the hall, two new water tanks and the purchase of tables and chairs to seat 100 guests.
Through this, the Hall can now fully cater for larger group functions with ease.
Mrs Reeves has recently applied for funding with the Gullen Range wind farm for use on painting the inside of the Hall and new external boundary fencing.
They are also hoping to erect signage on the Hall with future funding.
The committee used recent funds for outside lighting for both security and safety for visitors to the area.
The Grabben Gullen Hall has slowly been upgraded with the help of fundraising and grants which the committee relies on, for the improvement of their facilities.
Mrs Reeves is one of seven trust members who are working towards the improvement of the Hall for use by all community members and visitors alike.
Congratulations to Mrs Reeves and the other trust members.
