Kialla v Schooies
In Saturdays game Kialla had to work hard to record their two goals to nil victory.
The first half began as a very even game contest with most of the play around the midfield and neither being able to penetrate the others circle.
In the seventh and eighth minute the Schooies received two penalty corners and Kialla’s goalie Katie Laing saved both shots. Half time was nil all.
The second half began with the play fairly even, the Schooies missed the chance to score when Brad Smith’s shot was well saved by Katie.
Kialla went two nil up just after the 57th minute when they were a penalty corner and Hunter Chudleigh picked up the rebound and found the backboard.
In the final 10 minutes Schooies had a couple of chances to score without success.
Kialla then attacked and made a good passing move. Karen Dawson scored to make it two nil to Kialla. A good hard game.
