The continuing rainfall in the Upper Lachlan area has caused the closures of three roads as of yesterday as rising water levels cover causeways and low level crossings.
A major closure is the main road between Taralga and Oberon at the Abercombie River.
Other closures so far affect the Bevendale Road at the Lachlan River and Lerida Road South (off the Hume Highway) towards the Collector Road.
Inquiries about road conditions can be made with Upper Lachlan Council at either 4845 4100 or 4830 1000.
Information on roads is also posted on Council’s website.

So far in July, 120mm has fallen, bringing the total for the year up to yesterday morning to 603.4mm - getting on to 25 inches in the old measure.
