Above photos: Pyjama Day: As a reward to the students for their excellent efforts and behaviour during the term, a ‘Wear Your Pyjamas to School’ day was held on Friday 1 July. Everyone joined in the fun with much enthusiasm, including staff. There were some very interesting outfits.

Above photos: Year 3 and 4 Excursion to Questacon: Late last term our Year Three and Four classes went on an excursion to visit Questacon in Canberra. Students visited the National Science and Technology Centre to experience a variety of enriching, inspirational and engaging science based activities. At Questacon the students explored interactive science exhibits and live experiments. The children also had the opportunity to participate in the Spectacular Science Show.

School Explorers: The first four sessions of School Explorers which ran during Term Two was very well attended and enjoyed by all participants. Each session is supported by one of the present classes who assist with the activities and help the participants in any way they can.

School Explorers recommences on Friday 19 August from 1.30pm. All welcome.

Above Photo: Read More In May: WELL DONE to the following students who participated in the READ MORE IN MAY Competition. Toby and Sienna Charnock, Nathaniel Waters, Ellie McCormack, Billie Skelly, Tara McCormack, Jack Pursell, George Skelly, Charlee Searl, Olivia Pursell and Emma Page who read a total of 7998 minutes!!! These students are in the running to win $250 worth of book vouchers from Scholastic.

Above photos: Year 1 / 2 Classroom: Reuben West has been doing a program of Practical Teaching training with Mrs Branson in the Year 1/2 classroom since Term Two and will finish up at the end of week one of Term Three. Reuben will then return to his studies at ACU In  Canberra. During the school holidays new carpet was installed in this classroom as part of our ongoing refurbishment of our school.
