Sharing a love of music and growing up in the small country town of Taralga, the band formed in mid-2008 as (Versatillia) and had their first public performance at the local pub.
Since then they haven’t looked back, performing locally and around NSW as a versatile cover band, playing a wide range of music from the old pub classics to hits of today, pop and rock to country and everything in between, they love to keep their audience entertained. More recently the band changed their name to, THE CORBYS and has been concentrating on their own original music.
Eldest sibling Rhiannon teamed up with Roger Corbett of ‘The Bushwackers’ to fine tune and co-write a bunch of songs for a debut album. The end result is a collaboration of songs fusing country, folk and rock together.
The Corbys still love to perform all the old favourites, but also now like to include their original songs (from the album) in their live shows.
They love to entertain and they love the crowd.
It’s a lively, energetic full band experience that keeps audiences on their feet, or in laid back, relaxed acoustic performance.
The Corbys self titled debut album was produced and recorded by Roger Corbett at The Valley Studio in The Blue Mountains and is out now.
