Once I reached the recovery stage after surgery, I was transported back to Crookwell on the advice of a prominent professor of surgery as he has a knowledge of Crookwell and the running of its District Hospital.
The hospital grounds allow for rehabilitating walks in a pleasant safe environment. All staff have contributed to my recovery: whether they realise it, I don't know, but hopefully through this letter they do. The ward, domestic, kitchen and nursing staff; as well as the Wellness Centre, maintenance, administration; and, of course, the doctors. These dedicated people make the hospital; they are the hospital.
Crookwell District Hospital is one to be proud of and must be protected forever. I would like to publicly thank everyone at CDH for your help in my recovery.
