Joe was recently appointed Council’s Horticulture (Parks and Gardens) Apprentice and will commence in the role on 27 February 2017.
He will be employed by HVTC and Council will act as his host employer.
The four-year apprenticeship will provide Joe with practical training and support to complete a Horticulture (Parks and Gardens) Certificate III qualification.
Joe currently works as a Casual Lifeguard at Crookwell and Gunning Swimming Pools.
Upper Lachlan Shire Council General Manager John Bell congratulated Joe on his appointment.
“Council looks forward to hosting him through his apprenticeship as he builds his knowledge, skills and on the job experience,” Mr Bell said.
