The Crookwell and Gunning swimming pools are due to close this Saturday, March 25.
Upper Lachlan Shire Council said attendance at Crookwell Swimming Pool increased significantly this season with 2603 more visitors than last year. To date, 12,906 people have visited the pool this season, compared to 10,303 the previous season
The council also said the $45,000 refurbishment of the Crookwell pool – which was jointly funded by the council and the Federal Government’s Stronger Communities Program – the return of a diving board and a succession of hot days had an impact on attendance.
Attendance at Gunning Swimming Pool was slightly down with 4021 visitors this swimming season, compared to 4641 last year.
You can return to both pools on Saturday, November 4.
