The sleepy village was literally buzzing with proud car owners displaying their car's down the main street, live music at the Laggan Hotel entertaining visitors and at Willowtree sculpture garden 20 visitors from Leisure Link and Neighbour Aid in Goulburn enjoyed a guided sculpture walk and art activity.
The Friday was a beautiful autumn day and Neighbour Aid participants had lunch under the Elm tree in the garden with a leisurely stroll through the garden viewing art works and sampling carrot cake freshly baked from the garden to the table for afternoon tea.
On Saturday Leisure Link participants enjoyed a guided sculpture walk and increased their knowledge of sculpture as a varied medium where works from stone, wire, bronze and wood, from local and regional artists were on display. They then imaginatively explored the art of mosaics and created stunningly innovative works to take home at the end of the day.
An enjoyable lunch on the veranda, stroll through the garden with autumn colours adorning the garden in yellow, orange and bronze leaves; nature's beauty unsurpassed offered an enjoyable and creative event.
