Five playgrounds across the Upper Lachlan Shire Council (ULSC) will be upgraded as part of the $38,259 Play and Stay Project.

Gunning Showground, Daltong River Park, Taralga’s Goodhew Park, Apex Park and Coleman Park in Crookwell will receive funds.

This project will also be jointly funded by the ULSC who will put in $19,259.

“Improving the quality and safety of our Playgrounds helps to make the Shire a viable place for existing families to stay, and attracts new families to the region,” Mr McCormack said.

“On behalf of the community, I would like to thank the Federal Government for their funding contribution, which made the Play and Stay Project a reality.”

The Play and Stay project is part of the federal government’s Stronger Communities Program.
