Eleven students from the year 8 ‘Links To Learning’ class at the Crookwell High School have been very busy in the kitchen.

The students will be helping Beatrice Williams host the Biggest Morning Tea next Tuesday.
Everyone is welcome to visit the Senior Citizens Rooms to have a cuppa and home cooked sweet helping to raise money for the Cancer Council. A small donation is the only cost.
The students have been busy making slices and cakes including yummy tim tam rounds, hedgehog slices, lemonade scones, mars bar slice and fruit slices plus much more.
The morning tea will be hosted between 10am and 4pm.
There will also be a handmade quilt that has been donated from the Wednesday Patchwork Group for a raffle. The quilt is currently on display at Chat a Way Cafe.
Coordinator of the Links To Learning group Miss Shelley Picker said this is a government initiative hosted by the Southern Region Business Enterprise Centre that help to bring the community to be involved with education. It is the second funding period of three years for Crookwell High School..
It helps certain student groups get hands on experience within the community.
The students from the year 10 Links To Learning class will be helping Viewhaven Lodge in the future.
The students have also spent time at the Crookwell Preschool.
