But Sandra McDonell representing Crookwell, played 11 unanswered points to give her the win. The ladies played 29 ends on the day. This was the fourth match in singles for the district.
The district singles is a southern tablelands based competition.
The singles match was played in Crookwell last Thursday June 22 on a cool winter’s day.
The ladies bowls club has a rest over the winter months during July and August but when they resume bowls they will play pairs, triples and consistency singles.
Sandra has also won the club singles recently and has won this title 11 times over her career.
She has enjoyed playing bowls for 28 years and said the highlight of her career was during a fun day playing with her daughter Donna and granddaughter Sandie.
