As part of Footy Colours Day, staff hosted a morning tea at the Council Chambers Crookwell and Crookwell Works Depot, raising $220.
Funds raised from Footy Colours Day will help fund Fight Cancer Foundation’s programs which enable young learners to continue with their education while they receive treatment for cancer.
Upper Lachlan Shire Council General Manager John Bell said Council was pleased to support Footy Colours Day.
“Like most people in our community, many of our staff have been impacted by cancer in some way, so it is a cause near and dear to our hearts,” Mr Bell said.
“Footy Colours Day is a small way we can contribute to helping kids and young people living with this terrible disease.”
