JUNIOR LEAGUE
Underdogs shake up the semi's
By Mel Davis
Crookwell Junior Green Devils premiership contention is well and truly alive.
The mighty under 10s and under 11s showed us just how tough they are last Sunday and now advance to the grand final.
The Under 10s played Goulburn.
It was an intense and tough match.
This team is well coached and beleive in each other.
They fought to the end and came away with a good win - 24-18.
The Under 11s played Gungahlin Bulls.
Its was a real struggle in the first half.
Crookwell needed a lift and it came in the way of some great line breaks.
With the help of some brave Under 10s stepping up the team took advantage of every opportunity.
They won their match 28-18.
Both teams now play in the grand final at Seiffert Oval Queanbeyan this Saturday September 23.
The under 10s at 10 am and the under 11s at 1pm.
Please come over. And bring a big voice and plenty of support. These boys have worked so hard for their place in the grand final.
And, UP THE MIGHTY DEVILS!!!
