Crookwell’s Emily Smith has been named as the new captain of the Australian Hockeyroos. The team soon heads off to the 2017 Oceania Cup where they will take on New Zealand and Papua New Guinea for a spot in the 2018 Hockey World Cup. The tour commences on October 9, 2017. Smith said she is up for the task and wants to bring home another win.
