The bags have been ordered from an Australian supplier and should arrive within the next few weeks.
David Carter addressed the last meeting about the possibility of establishing a hydrotherapy pool and exercise complex in Crookwell.
Plans are still in the early stages and a workshop will be organised before Christmas.
The Association lodged an objection to the proposed change of use of the Roberts Street car park which would allow caravans and mobile homes to stay for up to two nights at no charge.
The car park is used by local businesses whose staff members have previously been encouraged by Council to park in areas outside Goulburn Street.
A public meeting was held in August to gather information and suggestions to be included in Council’s proposed Streetscape Scheme.
Results of the meeting were given to the streetscape consultant to be included in the report to be presented to Council within the next few weeks.
Expressions of interest are being sought for the proposed Crookwell Community Garden to be established on Council-owned land in Park Street.
A steering committee will be formed within the next few weeks and an invitation is extended to any groups or individuals who are interested in the project to contact Bronwyn Haynes on 0423 692 646.
