Bigga to 'Show and Shine' this October

It’s nearly that time of year for the local motoring enthusiasts to bring out their pride and joys for the Bigga Golf Club’s Car and Bike Show.

Save the date – Saturday October 28.

Coordinator and promoter of the event, David Zouch said, “The event is growing fast and we are beginning to get more interest from away.”

“I’d like to think this can put Bigga on the map for car enthusiasts and on their calendars as a yearly event.

“We have a great line up for the event and the village will welcome many.”

The entries in past years have been excellent and the day rolls into a weekend of great hospitality from Bigga.

This year the gates will open from 9am and the entries will be received from 11am.

The event is fully catered with the Club house open all weekend to cater.

Camping is available at the Golf Club on their grounds or at the recreation oval a short walk away.

Entries are invited for best holden, ford, other, classic and peoples choice.

New this year, the best blokes 4WD or ute category and best chicks 4WD or ute category.

The motorbikes are also very popular with the people’s choice, best European, American and Japanese categories to tempt the ‘bikey in all of us’.

The Bigga Car and Bike Show is now also popular as a family fun day out with live music through the day by Goulburn artist Tony Wade and into the night with local Taralga band The Corbys playing till late.

There are many pics of previous year’s entries and winners on their Facebook page.
