The first tour will depart from the Crookwell Hotel Motel in Crookwell on Tuesday, 24 October at 11.30am.
The tours will be a great opportunity for the public to learn how Australia’s first co-located wind and solar project works, and experience first-hand what it’s like to be up close to a wind turbine and solar panel array.
The energising, educational, guided tour will travel around sections of the wind and solar farms by minibus.
The tour will also feature complimentary light refreshments and a mini information display at the Crookwell Hotel Motel, a children’s tour quiz and a colouring-in competition.
The colouring sheet will be available on the tour or it can be downloaded from our website.
Derek Powell, Asset Manager for the wind farm said “We are really excited to provide the public with a regular opportunity to take a look at our wind and solar facility and learn more about renewable energy.
If you’d like to know more, be our guests and get on a tour.”
