Fishing Club
Mitch George, a member of the Crookwell District Fishing Club, caught a 650gm brown trout.
This fish won him the secret weight at the opening of the trout season for 2017.
The winner of the biggest trout was Brendan Reeves with a 800gm rainbow trout.
Both these trout were caught in the Crookwell River.
They were the only fish weighed in over the October long weekend.
Thanks for the members that went fishing and for turning up at the Laggan Hotel for the presentation barbecue, which every one enjoyed.
The club’s next meeting will be 7.30pm at the Criterion Hotel on November 16.
