Don't you just love the above photos, the children love the praise given to them after every match by coach Anthony Selmes, and it certainly shows in their eagerness to play each and every week!
The under 12s enjoyed another great day of cricket on the weekend.
Unfortunately, they were defeated by Goulburn Wollondilly Gold 8/145 to Crookwell 4/131.
A fabulous effort by all the team!
Crookwell Under 12s players will play a 7-a-side social match this Saturday February 21 commencing at 9am (note change of time this week only!) at Todkill Park 2, wear your cricket whites as usual.
As the team consists of 14 players they will be split into two teams and will end with a barbecue for the team and their families finishing around 11-12noon, as they officially have the "bye", if you can't make it don't worry.

Junior Touch
The Crookwell Junior Touch continued on Wednesday with some great games going ahead with storms and rain all around scaring lots of kids out of playing. This resulted in some teams playing short or forfeiting. Despite this most kids still put in great efforts in the slippery conditions.
In ‘A’ grade Blue had a very good 6-3 win over Yellow led again by Josh Waters Blue turned in a really good team performance. Liam Croke & Noah Davis both played very well. Yellow were best served by Campbell McCormack who put in a great jack-in-the-box effort to keep Yellow in the game. Ari Stephenson & Reggi Davis were also very good.
Red continued their superb attacking form with a 10-1 thrashing of Black. Harry Skelly helped himself to 4 tries in a very good display. He was ably supported by Jaymee-Lee Hynes and Connor Minehan. Black never stopped trying with Sophie Palmer & Oscar Rose running themselves into a standstill to try and top the Red onslaught.
In the other game Green were awarded a forfeit from White who only had 3 players. The kids combined teams to have a fun game.
The ‘B’ grade was a similar scenario to ‘A’ grade with only one game played due to lack of numbers.
Tyler Smith proved he should have been in ‘B’ grade right from the start with 3 tries and a top game in Greens 7-4 win over Blue. Tilly Rose was also magnificent for Green in both attack & defence. George Skelly tried his heart out to be Blues best with Claudia Picker & Hannah Shipton also playing well.
Red & Yellow didn’t have enough players to make a game but still had a good run around. The ‘C’ grade kids loved the wet weather and did plenty of running to keep warm.
Draw for Wednesday 18.2.15 A Grade:
Red v Yellow – Rhys Secomb, Blue v White – Dan Picker, green v Black – Ian McIntosh
‘B’ Grade: Yellow c Green – Luke Cummins, Red v Blue – Louise Gibbs
‘C’ Grade: Skills & game
