Crookwell IGA is once again taking part in the “Giving Tree” project, which helps share Christmas joy with others.
Take a tag from the tree, tick the appropriate box (Mum, Dad, boy, girl and the child's age) attach it to a gift you have bought (from any store) and place the parcel under the tree by this Friday, December 15.
Family gifts can also be donated, such as a hamper or other items to be shared at Christmas.
St Vincent de Paul will distribute the parcels prior to Christmas to make sure many families will have a brighter Christmas this year.
More than 40 gifts were placed under the tree last year thanks to the generosity of local residents.
