According to the Rural Financial Counsellor, Beverly Houterman, 41 applications for the flood grant were lodged through her office.
“While there are a few applications still being assessed, the majority of applicants have now received a total of $320,000 in grant money.”
“We expect the remaining applications to be assessed before Christmas, with the total grant money received to exceed $400,000.”
“Because much of this grant money was spent at Crookwell businesses, the whole community has benefited.” Mrs Houterman said.
