The party was held in the garden of the Bannister Hall which was mowed and pruned and weeded by a productive team of Bannisterites in preparation for the night.
This made way for spectacular Christmas decorations which were donated and installed by the Caruana family of Prices Lane.
The beautiful weather lent itself to a very festive night for Bannisterians young and old who all joined together in the Spirit of fun and togetherness.
A productive cherry tree in the garden also lent itself to some very happy children, who all climbed and dined and filled their bellies.
The highlight for the kids was definitely the visit by Santa, who gave his reindeer a rest while he travelled in style on the back of the Bannister fire truck, sirens blaring!
In case anyone is wondering, the most popular requests to Santa were slim, and iPhones.
Santa then joined the community for a boisterous round of Christmas songs and carols, lead by a local pianist, Deb Moore.
The Bannister District Hall executive committee would like to that everyone who helped to make the night such a success, and for everyone who attended for bringing such a wonderful spirit of Christmas along with them.
