They have had a wonderful first week of school with Miss O’Neill and Miss Wilson.
Parents and staff have been very impressed with how happy and settled the children have been right from the first day, due mainly to our kindergarten transition program, ‘Flying Start’.
Parents and staff have been very impressed with how happy and settled the children have been right from the first day, due mainly to our kindergarten transition program, ‘Flying Start’.
‘Flying Start’ will begin again next term each Monday morning for students who will be beginning school in 2019.

Returning students at Crookwell Public School were very excited for the start of the school year after the long summer break, meeting friends, old and new, was high on the agenda!
Even the staff were happy to be back.
The executive team of Crookwell Public School for Term 1 comprises of Michael Whittington, relieving principal, Mrs Jade Bell, assistant principal and Miss Kirstie O’Neill, relieving assistant principal. Current principal, Mr Atfield, is on leave for Term 1.
The new school year has also brought some new faces to Crookwell Public School.
Mr Graeme Andrews has joined the staff from Tallong Public School and is teaching a Yr 3/4 class.
Miss Jocelyn Wilson, daughter of Mac and Sandra Wilson and ex-student of Crookwell Public School, has returned to the school as teacher/librarian.
Miss Wilson will be team teaching with Miss O’Neill on Kindergarten as well as working with students from each class in the library.
Ms Lauren Caffery joins the CPS staff as a permanent staff member after being the successful applicant through the merit selection process in Term 4 last year.
Ms Caffery has great experience across all stages and is teaching a Yr 3/4 class this year.
Welcome Graeme, Jocelyn and Lauren to the Crookwell Public School staff!
It has been a great start to the 2018 school year at Crookwell Public School with students and staff quickly settling back in to stimulating routines and school life.
We warmly welcome our new families in to our school and look forward to a productive and exciting school year ahead.
