Youth Week Photo Competition
Get those cameras snapping for the 2018 Youth Week Photo Competition.
The competition is open to all primary and high school aged children in the shire with cash prizes awarded for first, second and third place. The first prize winner will also have their winning entry displayed throughout the shire.
Entries must be in digital format, capture the theme ‘My Place’, and be submitted to bproudman@upperlachlan.nsw.gov.au by Friday, April 13. Enquiries: Brenda Proudman, 4830 1000.
Gullen Range Wind Farm Community Grants
Applications for the 2018/19 Gullen Range Wind Farm Community Fund have opened.
The Fund currently totals $71,038 and supports community projects and initiatives within 10kms of the Wind Farm.

Garden Waste Collection Survey
Council is writing to existing domestic waste management customers asking them to advise us if they do not wish to participate in a new kerbside garden waste collection service, to be rolled out across the shire.
Feedback from the survey will assist council in planning for the new service, including the purchase of new garden waste bins.
Anyone who does not wish to receive the service should advise council by Monday, April 30. Enquiries: Operations Division, 4830 1000.
