Following 17 years as a general practitioner in Crookwell, Dr Nicola Duncan has left the Health Care Centre in December to move closer to her family in the Southern Highlands. The staff and patients of Dr Duncan wish her farewell.

This brings a big welcome to two more doctors to the local practice. Dr Justin Sissing and Dr Amadeus Klocker.

Dr Sissing has a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours and comes to the practice as a highly regarded practitioner.

He moved to a full time, permanent role with The Health Care Centre from Inverell in August 2016 and completed his fellowship with RACGP whilst with the practice. He was appointed to a VMO (Visiting Medical Officer) role with the Crookwell District Hospital in August 2017.

Dr Sissing visits Sunset Lodge and conducts a clinic in Taralga each month for patients of the Health Care Centre. His special interests include: sports medicine, skin cancer, paediatrics, minor surgical procedures and men’s health.

Dr Amadeus Klocker comes with a Bachelor of Medicine. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and joined the local Practice as a full time general practitioner on February 5, 2018.

Dr Klocker is currently completing his specialisation as a GP.

He has worked as an intern at Bankstown/Campbelltown Hospitals and GP Registrar at Argyle Medical Centre in Goulburn.

Dr Klocker’s special interests include: chronic pain, mental health, palliative care and also minor surgical procedures. The community has welcomed the two new doctors to the practice, as do the staff and other doctors at the centre.
