The classes, which were secured thanks to a joint initiative by the state government and Telstra, is part of the NSW Ageing Strategy.
Library manager Michaela Olde said the free workshops over May and June are skills the community need.
“People will be going through basic skills and will help for those filling forms online or using the internet,” she said.
“This is a skill set they can learn that may help in every day life so people feel a bit more confident. Lots of people want to know how to use the computer, internet and emails.”
Ms Olde plans to apply for further grants so more classes are delivered to the Shire.
There will be 10 spots available per class.
Dates and times for classes in Gunning will be announced soon.
