Recently whilst shopping at IGA Crookwell, we were asked to sign a petition requesting improvements designed to make the pedestrian crossing safer.

My wife and I both signed the petition, but made the comment any improvements would be wasted if locals including police at the Crookwell Police Station continue to jay walk and refuse to use the crossing that is in place for their safety. Surely the police should be setting the example for others to follow.
