Bach in the Dark is a series of unconventional classical music concerts – deliberately informal, delightfully intimate and a little bit different. David Pereira and Rachel Scott will perform this special concert for two cellos in the Courtroom, Old Gunning Courthouse, at 7pm on Friday, 24 August.

The program will include works by J.S. Bach, re-imagined by David Pereira, plus the much-loved sonata for two cellos by Jean-Baptiste Barrière, Ross Edwards, Mozart and some musical surprises.

SPEAKING OF HISTORY
The Gunning and District Historial Society’s AGM will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 2pm at the Gunning Court House.
The meeting will be followed by a talk on the 180th anniversary of Gunning's first land sales from guest speaker, vice-president Greg Murphy.
