This weekend the Tomikan Social bowlers will be in Crookwell so there will not be any Championships played. All bowlers who have their names in to play be at the Club at 12 noon on Saturday for lunch at 12.30. Dress for this weekend is Casual. Also the sheet for names of Pennant bowlers for 2019 is up at the Clubhouse. Please indicate if you are going to play so we can nominate our teams.

Squash
Vintage Squash Tournament 2018
Matthew and Karen Benjamin hosted the Crookwell Vintage Squash Tournament’on October 6-7. This event is for female and male players 30 years of age and above. It proves that squash is a game of skill and need not cause serious injuries. Some players who entered were over 70 years of age and going strong. Entries were received from local players and others who travelled from Orange, Canberra, Wollongong, Sydney, Wagga, Batemans Bay & Bega. The tournament catered for all grades, culminating in an exciting final in which Mick Bayley (ACT) won Division 1 & runner up Peter Porter (Glb).

Twilight Tennis 18/10/2018
The twilight tennis season starts this Thursday 18th October. There is always room for more pool players to fill in when teams are short. Anyone interested in being a pool player please ring Hudson on 0429446653 or Gerald on 0448394393. It is a social competition that starts at 6pm and is finished by 9pm so many players bring their children along. Each player has two mixed doubles and one mens or ladies doubles. It cost $5 per night to play.
