Willersdorf played on Saturday night as part of the Jammin 4 the Homeless act at the Memorial Hall in Crookwell, along with the One Faith Band and Sandy McNaughton, Paul Avanti Iannuzzelli, Mal Smith, Dallas Atkins.
For the duration of his tour Willersdorf has donated $4 from every iTunes sale to the Salvation Army’s Drought Relief Appeal, and he has continued with his charity at this weekend’s performance.
Willersdorf and the other acts have donated their time and money for the gig to raise money for local churches’ outreach programs.
The cost of admission was seven cans of food per adult and one can per child.
“The songs talk about the tough times and how it is helpful to reach outside to other people and engage with your community and the people you love,” Willersdorf said.
His songs touched on the journey of mental health and how to stay connected and overcoming stigma.

“Recording and touring is really all about people… Whether it’s a huge crowd in an entertainment centre or a small shed, it’s always about celebrating life.”
“You only have to switch on the news or flick on social media to soon be overwhelmed by the negative things in our world.
