You won’t hear the words “I’m bored” at Kids Day Out: there’s a plethora of fun, family friendly activities to entertain the children and adults alike throughout the day.

The day’s activities will include jumping castles, face painting, an antique farm machinery display and the Thomas and Friends Train and Track Play Station, where you can test your engineering skills and build your own train track with the Argyle Model Railway Society. Police, SES and the fire brigade will all be there so you can explore your favourite emergency vehicles and meet the officers who protect our community.
Market stalls will be selling books, plants, fresh homemade bakery items, preserves and much more. Food and drink will be available for purchase including Devonshire tea, pies and sausage rolls.
Crookwell’s famous premature calf Millie will be doing the honours in the cow pat lotto, with generous first, second and third place prizes to be won. A pet parade will commence at 1pm and categories include: best trick, best dressed, biggest pet, smallest pet, most colourful pet and most exotic pet. You don’t want to miss this event.

Crookwell Lions Christmas Market
Need to do some Christmas shopping?
Why not shop locally and support a good cause at the Crookwell Lions Christmas Markets?
Over 30 stalls will be offering an array of different products from toys, crafts, gifts, homemade cakes and much more. There will be a barbecue, food, coffee, ice creams and drinks available for purchase on the day.
At 12pm there’ll be a visit by a very special guest of honour, Santa Claus in his red suit, handing out goodie bags and posing for pictures.

Rhubarb Revival
The theme of this year’s Collector Spring Market is all about rhubarb.
On offer will be all the usual market goodies and all things rhubarb, including plants, pies, preserves and much, much more.
The rhubarb is locally grown, and there will be a free jumping castle and face painting to keep the children entertained while the adults shop for wholesome local produce.
